Going green is a responsibility rather than a choice

We take pride in a series of environmentally friendly undertakings and thereby continually work to minimise our impact on the ecosystem.

Environmentally friendly arrival: Innichen (Italian: San Candido) is easily accessible by train.
We pick our guests up directly from the train station with our own minibus free of charge.

Garbage is collected separately and recycled properly.

Disposable plastic is avoided as much as possible.

Most of our lighting is LED.

In the kitchen, we primarily use regional products. For example, we get our dairy products from the local Drei Zinnen alpine dairy, which processes the milk from the local farmers in San Candido.

With our minibus, we regularly take our guests to local trailheads to explore the most beautiful places in the Dolomites on foot, and in winter with snowshoes. We usually choose quiet paths in order to be able to fully enjoy nature.

The indoor pool is treated with little chlorine because the water is given a very high, stable, and biologically valuable quality by Grander water revitalization. The indoor pool is equipped with state-of-the-art technology with warm air recovery.

Our SPA Littamum uses high-quality natural cosmetic products from the Alps.

Our rooms are furnished with local wood. For example, the suites are furnished with Swiss stone pine wood from South Tyrol, which is known to have a positive effect on health and sleep.

Heating is provided by district heating from the Toblach-San Candido heating plant, which uses unused wood chips and processing residues from sawmills as its fuel.

South Tyrol is bursting with hydroelectric power. The hydroelectric power plants are certified for green energy.

When it comes to conversion and renovation work in the hotel, we almost exclusively commission local companies. This helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contributes to improving our carbon footprint.
